Another year... another insurance policy, a copy of our Public Liability and Indemnity insurance covering us until March 2019.
Another change that is happening in the next few months in the GDPR (General Data Protection Regulations) which changes how businesses have to process and hold personal information.
A business has to make you aware of how, where and why they are storing information.
Andrew Youll Photography holds information in the following places, in the following ways for the following reasons:
- On the Webstore: We hold your name, email address, and postal address, why? to help us serve you better when posting and delivering your photographs, to make it easier for you going forward ordering from us.
- On Paypal: Paypal will conform to the GDPR in their own way, but on our account, we hold the same information as above, and it can be used for our mailing list of offers.
Under the GDPR you have the right to request any information we hold on you, subject to a reasonable amount of time.
if you have any questions about any of this, just message or email to ask. ... See moreSee less
On my journey with CaptureOne 11 Pro, here we have the original unedited Jpeg export of a RAW file, and then one where I've edited it, bringing back the detail in the blown out parts and adjusted the sharpness and clarity.
Really starting to enjoy using the program now, which at first coming from Aperture had a big learning curve, and I'm, discovering new stuff all the time with it. ... See moreSee less
During the snow, I have been playing with settings, trialing different subjects and objects to photograph, and it turns out my favourite from the last few days is this of, Leanne and Mines nephew Harley.
This was taken just before he came outside with me to see what I could photograph... turns out what I would have been better doing is photographing the children, rather than seeing what odd angles of snow I could find, on this particular day. ... See moreSee less
Now that the hunting season is drawing to a close, with the Yorkshire Farmers Bloodhounds holding their last meet of the season last weekend.
We're now looking forward to the Horse Trial Season, which for myself kicks off with a visit to Belton Horse Trials at Belton House Grantham.
Somewhere that, I have visited numerous years and photographed at. I've included a few photographs from previous visits to this great CIC2* Event, where if you attend on the Saturday you can see XC, SJ and Dressage.
If you're there on the Saturday and see me with my other half, Leanne and our new addition, Aila come and say hello. ... See moreSee less
